THE GENDER PAY GAP

The gap represents a career-long penalty for women. Our salaries peak earlier, and on average we earn 33% less than men. As a result, almost half of women depend on their partner's income to meet their cost of living at retirement.

CAREER BREAKS

Despite paternal leave becoming more popular, women are still more likely to take more career breaks to have children. Having longer periods of time off continues to have an adverse impact on the amount we can save for our super.
